Who Can Play?
We have Men’s and Co-Ed Basketball leagues for adults ages 18+.
We offer registration options for Teams and Free Agents. Teams are a group that has organized itself – friends, business, church, organization – and wants to register together. Free Agents are individuals that don’t have a team of their own, but still want to play. Register as a Free Agent and we will place you on a team in any league. If you have friends that want to play with you, they can also register and we can place you together – just let us know in the registration form!
When Are Games?
Games are played on the specific day of the week of the league. Every league is guaranteed 8 games including playoffs. Weekday leagues are played 6pm – 10pm; Sunday leagues are played 12pm – 10pm. Basketball games consist of two, 20-minute halves.
What Does it Cost?
League cost varies depending on the specific league and whether you are registering a whole team, or signing up as a Free Agent. Click the “Now Registering” button above to see league openings and cost!
What Do I Need for Games?
We supply basketballs for leagues. Jerseys are not required for teams – only that you wear the same color shirt, and have jersey numbers on your shirts. All Free Agents get a league shirt with registration!
What Are the Team Sizes?
Basketball leagues are 5v5. We allow teams to a maximum of 12 players on their roster.
What’s the Level of Competition?
We have leagues for players of all skill levels! For leagues labeled by competitive level (ex: A, B, C, D, E-League) teams may specify which division they prefer to be placed in. Note that Mid State Sports Leagues reserves the right to move teams to a different division/league when deemed necessary.
What if My Team Needs to Forfeit?
If you know your team will forfeit a game, please send a courtesy e-mail to us on our CONTACT PAGE.
What About Weather?
All updates to Basketball leagues related to weather will be posted to our Facebook and X (Twitter) accounts. Be sure to follow those accounts for updates related to rainouts, weather changes, or if a league is playing tonight or not!

GENERAL BASKETBALL RULES
Mid State Sports Leagues uses TSSAA Basketball Rules in governing all league and tournament games. The following rules have been modified or added to fit our co-ed league.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS TO START AND FINISH
Teams may start and finish a game with four players. 3 male players and 2 female players are required on the court.
